A bit of history of the Journal

The Journal of Civil Engineering and Transport was registered in the District Court in Radom by the Kazimierz Pulaski University of Technology and Humanities in February 2019. Thanks to:

• Professor Jerzy Kisilowski, DSc., PhD, BEng., Tit. Prof.
• Aldona Kuśmińska-Fijałkowska, DSc., PhD, BEng., Assoc. Prof.

the creation of the Journal of Civil Engineering and Transport was made possible. They took the first steps toward launching the Quarterly (ISSN 2658-1698, e-ISSN 2658-2120) together with the Editorial Board team:

The first issue of the Journal was published in the fourth quarter of 2019 (printed and electronic version in English https://transengin.uniwersytetradom.pl/).

Since 2022 Professor Zbigniew Łukasik is the Chairman of the Scientific Council while associate professor Aldona Kuśmińska-Fijałkowska is the Editor-in-Chief (from the very beginning in 2019).

The Journal of Civil Engineering and Transport is on the list of scientific journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Education and Science (MNiSW/MEiN):

• since 2021 – 40 points.

The Journal of Civil Engineering and Transport – commonly known as transEngin – is a scientific journal supporting Polish science at the University of Radom.
